Welcome to KJ Street Consulting, where our mission is to empower communities through expert consulting services. Founded in 2013, KJ Street Consulting started as a weekend venture that quickly evolved into a full-time operation, driven by a commitment to make a positive difference in the community.

With over 13 dedicated staff members, each bringing unique skills and passion, KJ Street Consulting would not be where it is today without their collective efforts. Together, we work diligently to provide valuable resources to individuals and organizations, helping them navigate complex challenges and achieve their goals.
Under the leadership of Kim Street, who has been a dedicated advocate for families, we have engaged with various organizations to create impactful initiatives. Notably, our collaboration with the Stollery Children’s Foundation led to significant developments, including a new ambulatory clinic and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
KJ Street Consulting specializes in grant writing, project management, and community engagement, all aimed at fostering resilience and development within our communities. Fundraising Evolved
Operating Philosophy
Fundraising has changed. Bake sales and school dances are no longer enough when playgrounds, spray decks, and technology projects cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. With public money getting tighter and corporate giving often unpredictable, the weight falls on volunteers and community members to pull everything together.
We believe every organization has the passion and heart to reach its goals. What often stands in the way is time, experience, and capacity. That’s where we step in. We work alongside groups to build and execute a plan that fills these gaps. By providing expertise and support, we reduce the frustration, burnout, and fundraising fatigue that so many communities face.
Our Approach
By becoming the right arm of an organization, we provide direction, guidance, and advice throughout the fundraising process. Along the way, we educate people on what needs to be done, why it matters, who should be involved, and how to move things forward. We also help make introductions to government officials and supporting organizations—something many volunteers feel hesitant to do—and we attend meetings whenever possible.
Our soft approach gives clients comfort and confidence. Through phone, email, and virtual meetings, we’re able to work with communities across several provinces, often without ever meeting in person.
